💧 Guild Wars 2 Classes Reddit
Warrior skills and traits have always been all over the place, and due to that lack of focus, the class sucked on important aspects. Anet is trying to change that now, but Warrior will always feel simplistic because we won't have a tree of options as well-thought and open to options as Revenant, for example.
/r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit. First one should be whatever you need to make your own armor. For medium armor classes
Combined with the initiative system it also leads to spamming a single skill very often. I find my ranger was more fun in random PvE, but the thief is so much more fun in organized groups. 4. Mattubic.
Necro, Warrior & Ranger are the easiest to "understand". Hit smash -> You smash. All 3 are quite durable with easy builds and good/great damage and group utility. All 3 are good/great in all content (Open World, Fractals, Raids, PvP, WvW) Feline_Sleepwear • 2 yr. ago. Easiest are probably warrior, ranger and necromancer.
Cross-class utility is a lot less important. GladiusNocturno. Not really the most commonly used on all meta builds, but staff is the weapon available to most proffessions. The only proffessions that cant use it are warrior and Engineer. Symmol. Actually Sword is the most available weapon, only Necro can't use it.
What are your top 3 most fun classes and a short description why it’s fun for you. I just started GW2 yesterday so I’m going to make my list based on which I think will be most fun for me. Mesmer- love the moves and colors of the class Guard- beefy armor and straight up DPS class Necro - the theme seems very fun and different
As far as general core classes go: Power core engineer does around 35k dps which is respectable (more than power mech). Core warrior is viable as both a dps and quickness provider. Condi core ranger should be ~30k dps and has the option to run alacrity. Core rev should also be close to 30k.
For your second question, GW2’s PvP is incredibly accessible. You’re able to start PvPing with a level 2 character (i.e. immediately after finishing the tutorial). There’s an option to teleport to the PvP lobby from virtually anywhere. Almost everything is immediately unlocked, which is why people give advice to go to the PvP lobby to try
I went into Guild Wars 2 nearly 100% set on a Sylvari Necromancer. I'd get to keep the nature and life vibe I got from my night elf druid, and then also keep the demon summoning drain-tanker feel from my warlock. The transition wasn't smoothe, however. Guild Wars 2 minions have some mannerisms that make them less appealing to me.
On the dps side, it's actuallt very well balanced, when a class is broken it has like 5-10% more dps. On the other hand, hp, utilities, support or whatever is not considered. Ele has lowest hp pool and not a once of utility on his kit, so it's useless on end game pve. 0. Aetheldrake • 1 yr. ago.
Step 2: buy the expansion bundle. Step 3: Make a Guardian. Step 4: use your free level 80 boost on your guardian. Step 5: Get 240 hero points (24 expansion zone hero point challenges) to max out Firebrand. Step 6: equip Firebrand in your third (bottom) specialization slot of your build tab.
1. SargeMumar. • 3 yr. ago. Necro is the most forgiving class in the game. Both elite specs are hela tanky and deal good damage. Condi scourge is probably one of the easiest classes in the game. Reaper rotation is pretty simple but can have massive drop on dps if you screw up a couple of mechanics. 1. Wh4rrgarbl.
Class advice. [Discussion] About to jump into GW2 and I'm looking for class advice. I'd like to be mostly melee focused. I'm a competent gamer, but wouldn't mind starting with an "easy" class to help my learning curve. Also, I'll probably focus on solo open world play until I really get a feel for things. 24.
Charr: warrior and engineer cuz they like fucking shit up. Asura:engineer and necromancer cuz they like building shit up. Silvari: ranger cuz they like meeting nature shits. necromancer because they are too young to know that shit is evil. and mesmer because well living world spoilers and shit.
With each new expansion adding new specializations for the classes we're getting more and more class icons and readability at a glance becomes quite difficult, they should really allow you to hover over a party/squad members class icon or if in the open world/pvp environments, when you target them you should be allowed to hover over their target icon and display what class/spec they're using.
