🎴 Fujifilm Xf 50Mm F 2 R Wr Lens Review
If this is going to be your first prime lens, I would recommend either this lens or the 23mm f/2.0 WR, depending on your needs. The Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake lens is also a great choice, but the aperture isn’t as fast and there’s no aperture ring. Get this lens for the ultimate in compactness in the Fuji X-mount system.
The Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro has a rubberized focus ring as seen on "red badge" zoom lenses from Fujifilm, such as the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR.. For a larger lens such as the XF 80mm f/2.8 Macro, it ensures a steady grip and the lens is not likely to slip or be unstable in the hand.
It’s a very solid feeling lens. In fact, from what I remember of the f1.4 version, the XF 23mm f2 actually feels better built. ↑ The XF 23mm f2 R WR lens is ultra compact and light. In addition to being well assembled, the XF 23mm f2 is extremely compact and weighing in at a mere 180g, it’s also very light.
Coming to you from Christopher Frost, this great video review takes a look at the Fuji XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR lens. The 16mm f/1.4 features a 24mm-equivalent focal length, making it useful for a range
The 35mm f/2 is fairly small and lightweight, and so it’s good for walk-around and travel photography. It seems to be well built and durable. It’s weather sealed, which is great if you have a weather sealed camera to attach it to. The Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR is a quality lens, and not much negative can be said about it.

Although this may not be what you want if you are looking at a flattering portrait lens, the 50mm is sharper and much more contrasty than the 56mm. Personally, for a portrait, I prefer the fall
Back in 2018 I needed a slight telephoto lens. This was when I started photographing MMA fights from ringside for Cage Warriors and BAMMA. It was just mere months before the Fujifilm 50mm f2 was available and the Fujifilm 50-140mm f2.8 or the 16-55mm f2.8 didn’t come into question at the time because of the f-stop.
Without the lens hood on, the Fujifilm 50mm f2 R WR becomes a fair bit smaller and more low profile to use. But in rainy day situations, I strongly recommend using it. Build Quality

In addition to the XF 16mm f2.8 R WR lens being sharp, color rendering is great, there’s decent contrast, and nice clarity. Pictures have really nice “pop” to them. Even vignetting is well-controlled at f2.8. Stopping down to f5.6 makes it disappear completely.
